Are you new to the area? Maybe you're looking for a place to develop friendships or to get answers to spiritual questions. Or maybe you saw the building project
and are wondering who we are. Whatever you're looking for we're glad you found us. We believe Calvary can encourage you and every member of your family.
  • When you arrive on campus, let a parking attendant know you're new to Calvary and he'll direct you to parking near the main entrance.

  • Greeters in the lobby will answer your questions and provide you with details about Calvary's ministries and events. They can also direct you to important
locations – the auditorium, classrooms, nurseries, and restrooms.

  • Nurseries and available for infants and toddlers. Sunday classes provide older children age-appropriate teaching and music. Classes, groups, and
activities are available for every age and stage of life.

  • During each service, we welcome newcomers. But we will never put you on the spot, make you stand, or call you to the front. We will, however, invite you
to meet our pastors and their wives in the lobby afterward.

THIS WEEK'S MINISTRY FOCUS

Children's Ministries – Please pray for the leaders and teachers – and the children and their families – involved in our Children's Ministries. Here are some of the ministries in which they participate each week.

  • Good News Club – Good News Club meets every Monday during the school year at Greenbrier Elementary School. God is blessing as children are hearing and responding to the Gospel.
  • Truth Trackers – Our Wednesday evening discipleship program teaches children the fundamental truths of our faith and encourages them to memorize Scripture and spend time with God.
  • Patch the Pirate Children's Church – Children’s Church at Calvary teaches elementary-school children godly character traits through music, exciting stories, and age-appropriate teaching.
For more information about these and Calvary’s other ministries to children and their families, contact Pastor Ben Ice by phone (864.967.7803) or by e-mail

OUR MISSIONARY FAMILIES

Each week, we recognize one of our missionary families and pray specifically for their needs. Their current update letters – as well as letters from all our missionaries – are available in the back hallway of the main building.
  • Pray for their relationship with God. Pray for their meditation on God's Word, prayer life, control by the Holy Spirit, growth in grace, and victory over Satan and the flesh.
  • Pray for their physical and emotional well-being. Ask God to deliver them from discouragement and loneliness as they are in the thick of the spiritual battle.
  • Pray for their family. Ask God to strengthen their marriage relationship. Pray for their children – for their salvation and growth in the Lord. Pray that, as a family, they would provide an excellent model for the people among whom they serve.
  • Pray for their ability to communicate. Ask God to help them adapt culturally and to communicate the love of Christ with the people they are seeking to reach with the Good News of the Gospel.
  • Pray for their city and country of service. Pray for a climate of responsiveness among the people with whom the Gospel message is shared.

PRAYING FOR OUR PASTOR

Behind every great leader is someone willing to pray for him. This is true of the heroes of Scripture; it is true of our pastor. As a church, let's intercede for our pastor in powerful, consistent, and specific prayer.

This daily guide will help you pray for him powerfully, consistently, and specifically. Will you commit to pray for Pastor Taylor every day? Open the Brochure »
